The HAF gives counselors the ability to keep track of client responses to a series of semi-structured questions, in an ordered electronic format. The system automatically organizes the HAF with the appropriate client and case each time. The standard sections of the HAF include: Presenting Problem / Primary Complaint, Demographic Information, Medical History, Education, Employment and Military History, Alcohol and Drug History, Legal History, Family History and Family Relationships, and Psychiatric History.
